Is anyone going to get this game? It looks like it will be a lot of fun and has four man squad support like killzone. I'm really looking forward to it as I think it will be more of my type of game than Modern Warfare 2.

Anyway I would love to set up a four man squad with you guys I think that playing with people you know as a team makes the whole thing that much more enjoyable and makes you more likely to succeed.

I just pre-ordered the game online from gamestop, I can't wait for this to come out. It looks like a much more immersive game than MW2, I am really looking forward to picking up that sniper rifle!!!!

I am willing to buy anything to get a new game. So definately count me in.

If the game really is great i might pick myself out a copy. Hopefully the online play is very well polished.

I looked at a few videos on line and read some impressions by people with access to the online beta and it looks like it's going to be great. If it is half as good as people say that it is then I should get another eight to nine months of play out of this the same way I did with Killzone.

I dont know about 8 or 9 months. But it will hopefully hold me over til killzone 3, if it ever comes out.

Killzone 3 as been officailly anounced at the E3 (2009)last year in fact, but like KZ2 i'm sure we won't heard much about it until it gets out.

I think Killzone 3 will have much bigger hype this time around because of popularity of the previous game.

I'm pretty sure too, but they never did a big publicity campaign about it, like they does for most of the game that palys on both console or even as much as Xbox 360 only game... The first one was not too publicised and the second one was almost a secret until it came out.

Yeah but they probably made a shitload more money this time around. So I would giess they are gonna hupe it up big time this time around.

i hope they use this money to prevent clan challenge crash, and to avoid cheaters...that what really kill this game, the first itme the clan server crashed it took them more then a month to fix, at that time i quit, many quit, i only get bck 1 month later...the bad was done

Gil, my friend, it is a sad fact that as long as there are video games, there will always be cheaters. No money in the world will stop that. In each and everyone of our lives we have all cheated video games one way or the other. For example I remember on my Sega system having specific codes for certain games that would make you immortal, etc... They even had a gameshark thing that would come with seperate codes, that you would have to buy. I think I actually have my old game shark for ps2, because it was cool just to see the cool stuff to unlock. So this will never change, someone will always get there jollies out of lagging and killing everyone. WHy? I dont know but it wont stop.

Cheats are a part of the code of the game, it's portal to permit the programmers to test soem parameter of the game, or those are part of code that wasn't deleted when they produce the game in wich gamers have open to gain acces to specifik abilities or games. Ex: Hot coffee mini-game in GTA San: Andreas, the mini-game was by pressing button you had to make love to a woman until she'd love it, the more she'd love the more friendship point you gained, the game was not available on the release version of the game, but they had left the code in, some people just opened the code and made it accessilble...

I just saw an online interview on youtube recorded a couple of days ago with the developers of killzone and apparently the next installment is well under way. They are re-writing the game engine however they are expecting it to be a ps4 exclusive and as such it will run on a cell broadband cluster. It sounds like it's going to be incredible although as they don't have a final hardware configuration it's going to be a long time before they can begin finalising the code.

Secret codes like that are cool. I always loved finding some stupid thing in a game. Like playing as snoop dogg, etc... That cracked me up. Most of the times you had to do something to unlock it, but sometimes you could just get a code. In my opinion thats fine, as long as the codes dont affect others playing around you.

The demo for this game is already available for download on xbox live, I believe you can get it on ps3 in a couple of days time.
I played it last night for about an hour (I'm sick so I went to bed early) and I must say that it is a much better game than MAG or MW2. The demo is only a small map so I don't think it's going to have a lot of replay value but it gives you a good idea of how the game is going to be. I played as a sniper (big surprise) and have to say that I enjoyed sniping on this game almost as much as in killzone. It's very hard to get good long distance shots as you have to account for travel time, balistic drop and need to hit them in the head for a one hit kill unless they are already injured, but the games mechanics are so good that this really wasn't a problem. There were quite a few that got away but you get assist points when someone else finally drops them.
The graphics are great (much better than MAG and although not better than MW2 they are more realistic).
Tonight I will try some of the other classes out and let you know what it's like to play with them and then I will probably stop playing as I don't want to get bored before you guys get the demo on ps3.
I was (still am) very excited about this game, and am happy to say that it doesn't look like I'm going to be disappointed.
The one thing I can't comment on is the squad play as I didn't join a squad because I felt like shit and didn't want to talk with anyone.

Okay, last night I played as the assault and the engineer class and must say that I had a blast. the games were much tougher and took around thirty minutes each match. I really like this game, I had more fun in the couple of hours I have played this than in all the time I played MAG. All of the classes that I have played so far are essential to the team completing the missions and communication is very important in this game. Every time I was on a squad where people worked together as a team we (our squad at least) dominated the opposition, in the matches where I got stuck with a bunch of twelve year olds shouting "you're gay, etc.." (happens a lot on xbox live) we got murdered. There is such a noticable difference in how you do that you pretty much have to work as a team.
Tonight I will give the medic class a quick try then go back to MAG until the demo is available on the ps3, but from what I have seen this is a must have game and although I am sure it will not sell anywhere near as well as MW2 it deserves to sell much better.

Cool, this would be a great game in which to make a clan. There is a roll for everyone in this game, it even has shotguns in it for juice. I want to be the sniper.

Don't find any release date on the game, do you got one?
