Playstation 4

When does everyone think that this is coming out? My guess four years.

Ill bet for a surprise: the Ps3 will be updated, next year , if not in 2 years we heard about the PS4 the third year it supposed to come out... but it take a year more to do so... reminds me of the ps3 saga...

I'm not so sure, I don't think it will come out until more people own HD TVs. There doesn't seem to be much point in an update system until more people are able to take advantage of the improved capabilities.

It will have to be a long time. There really is no need for it right now. How much more would we really want from a gaming system? The games themselves really are almost perfect now. For example if you play a training room with the computer players, they really are almost too real. Its scary how quickly they react and it doesnt feel like you are playing the machine at all. Gaming has come so far, and I cant even imagine where it is going to go. I remember going to the arcade as a kid, and feeding the machine, to play Galaga, centipede, donkey kong, or Pac-Man, and it was the coolest thing.

I have heard rumors of a newer playstation system comming out as early as 2013.

my favorite was centipede hehehe, but i too cannot imagine how much better these games systems can get.. just blows the mind away.. ohh.. hey.. remember Pong?

AH ARCADE, ive played so much Streetfigther, Tekken, Mortal Kombat, ive could had started one myself (And at the time it was not 50 to 100 to play , 25 all you needed)

Was anyone a fan of double dragon? I used to love that game although I think the arcade game I played to most was Bomb Jack, that games was as addictive as hell!

because xbox is getting a new console soon alot of ppl r saying playstation will follow suit. but xbox's have the crappiest hardware ever. because no games even come close to maxing out the playstations processing capabilities and w/ moderate firmware upgrades the ps3's projected to last thru 2015-16

Right now they should be improving the current ps3 before even talking about a ps4. The ps3 still has half a decade worth of use.

Yes I remember PONG so Ty, you are not the only one that is "old". Everyday on the walk home from school, I would blow at least $1 on the arcade, 4 games. There was a game like breakout called Araknoid. That I could finish with 1 quater,a nd be there for like 2 hours. It was awesome. Always had high score. What an ego boost that was to see your name or initials at the top of the screen everyday. I also was a HUGE pinball fan. LOVED IT !! To this day if I go somewhere and there is a pinball machine will go right to it, and start playing.

Anyway, sony is supposed to release the Emotion Engine in their next console, they work on it since the first PS

ego boost huh juice is it an ego boost when your in your pink fluffy too too lmao didnt think so, yea i like the pinball machines over here we have 2p slot machine things and they fall down a route once you have put it in the top and they have prizes on the other 2ps and you have to get your coin to push the others off and hopefully get a prize and more 2ps to keep playing, it can be very addictive.

Yup, but still it was supposed to be enterly somthing different . It's supposed to work with a controller that obey mental directive. I saw that controller at work in a Tv show called :La revanche des nerdz. They talk about it on the website of the tvshow www.ztele.com .(its in french tough)

We have those machines over here also, but usually they are in places where little kids have a fun day. Like fun central, and places like that. But instead of putting out money or toys they dispense tickets which you can exchanged for useless stuff. Like for example 800 tickets you can get a my pretty pony pencil. I know this because I actually saved my tickets and got one to match my too-too.
